Teddy Bridgewater's second career start continues to be switch on hold. The rookie quarterback will just be listed as inactive for Minnesota's game against Green Bay on Thursday night. Bridgewater confirmed to ESPN. com that he would not be playing against the Packers.

With Bridgewater out, which means Christian Ponder will just be making his first start since December 2013 within a game that is to be televised on CBS. Ponder started a total of nine games to the Vikings last season and went 2-6-1 in those starts.

Two of Ponder's starts came against the Packers, and also the 28-year-old quarterback did not look terrible in those contests. Within a Week 12 game that ended within a 26-26 tie, Ponder completed 70 percent of his passes (21 of 30) for 233 yards as well as a touchdown.
