Young Jeezy Interview with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show
Rapper Jeezy opened up exclusively with "Dish Nation" about his recent arrest for illegal firearms stemming from an August 24th incident where police found an AK-47 aboard Jeezy's tour bus following a Wiz Khalifa concert in Mountain View, California.
Jeezy and five members of his entourage were arrested and charged with illegal gun possession. We are the first outlet Jeezy has spoken to since his release. Check out the video for Jeezy's side of the story.

Jeezy Arrested For Possession Of An Assault Rifle
During their search, they discovered an assault rifle and arrested Jeezy along with several members of his entourage. He is still in custody and is being held on $1,000,000 bail. (TMZ)

“Do not get art and creativity confused with ignorance,” he said. “I am a hard-working, God-fearing man. I have no idea what an Illuminati is and really don’t give a damn ’cause it has nothing to do with me. I just wanted to do something different and something bigger.”
The artwork is a reflection of the music. “It’s kinda a dark album, so I just wanted it to have that mystique about it, something to keep as a collector’s edition.” He likened it to Tupac’s Makaveli cover art. “When Pac did Makaveli and he put himself on that cross, it was just how he felt,” said Jizzle. “He felt like it was him against the world, him against all odds. He put himself in that mind state. That’s just how I feel. I feel like I’m bigger than music. I’m a leader so I can do that. I don’t want to stand in front of a Lamborghini and give you another picture of me with five chains on. That’s wack for me. I’m nine, ten years in the game. I’m trying to push the envelope a little bit.” When the album arrives on September 2, it will silence the critics. “When you open that album and play that album, then we ain’t gon’ have this conversation. ‘Cause that music is A1.”(Rap-Up)

Wiz Khalifa's nation-spanning 'Under The Influence' Tour hit the Delaware Valley this weekend and with it came co-headliner Jeezy and a slew of some of the hottest acts in Hip-Hop today including Ty Dolla $ign, Sage The Gemini, DJ Drama & Rich Homie Quan. For his set Jeezy went all out: performing a number of his beloved mixtape classics and chart-topping smash hits for the capacity crowd at the Sesquehanna Bank Center. The Snowman even extend the love to his fellow ATLien Rich Homie Quan by bringing him out to perform "My Nigga", his platinum-selling collab with Jeezy's understudy YG.
